Meet the Judges for the Battle of the Babes Cocktail Competition
The Battle of the Babes Cocktail Competition is not only a celebration of female mixology talent, but also a showcase of the expertise and creativity of the judges, who bring years of experience and innovation to the table. This year, we are excited to introduce two of the judges who will be evaluating the creative cocktails with their seasoned palates.
Chantel Anderson – Founder of Bar Juicy
Chantel Anderson has made a name for herself in the beverage industry with over 8 years of experience spanning across the East and West coasts. Originally from Connecticut, Chantel’s career took off as she moved through major markets like Los Angeles, where she quickly became a highly sought-after lead mixologist. Chantel’s passion and expertise culminated in the creation of Bar Juicy, a traveling bar service that specializes in delivering custom cocktails and mocktails that meet the unique needs of each client.
Her approach is all about creativity and execution, providing not just beverages, but an experience. Bar Juicy offers workshops, classes, and consultations, and Chantel is renowned for training bar staff and consulting with venues to elevate their cocktail menus. Her talent was showcased on national television as she appeared as an expert mixologist on Bar Rescue (Season 8, Episode 18), further solidifying her reputation in the industry.
Andrew – Founder of Andrew Loves
Andrew’s journey into the world of food and hospitality started at a young age, influenced by his family’s roots in baking. By the age of 18, he was working in a boulangerie in Paris, honing his craft in pastries and bread. However, his path took a unique turn as he ventured into the business side of the food industry, working in creative and product development for some of the top names in hospitality.
Although Andrew shifted his career focus, his passion for food remained, leading him to create Andrew Loves, a passion project that reviews restaurants, bars, hotels, and shares fan-favorite recipes. His extensive travels around the world have exposed him to diverse culinary experiences, making him a well-rounded judge who knows what makes both a dish and a drink truly special. Andrew brings his insider knowledge and love for food and drinks to the table, offering a perspective that blends hospitality, travel, and culinary expertise.
Crystle, Founder of Mermane Haircare
Meet Crystle, the creative force behind Mermane Haircare! As a master hairstylist with over 15 years of experience, she specializes in smoothing treatments, hair Botox, and safe extension methods. Her clean beauty brand, Mermane Haircare, is inspired by marine botanicals and aims to restore hair to its healthiest, shiniest potential. Balancing her career as a hairstylist and entrepreneur, Crystle is also a dedicated single mom to her son, Kai. Her journey is a testament to creativity, resilience, and the entrepreneurial spirit. We’re excited to have her on board to bring her unique insights to the competition!
