Brandi Neloms is a true powerhouse—entrepreneur, advocate for economic equity, and a connoisseur of classic Old Fashioned cocktails. She wears multiple hats, including co-founder of a SAAS (Software as a Service) solution and chair of the board for Greater than Tech.
Recently, Brandi launched BLK in Bloom, a vibrant community celebrating the power and potential of Black women across the city. She also serves as a strategic advisor for Redd Rose Vodka. Brandi is eagerly anticipating the chance to savor the myriad of spirits being served by our event partners Queen’s Hand Collaborative and Casamigos.
Brion Cephus
With a passion for wine and food that was ignited during his time at Johnson & Wales University, Brion Cephus has consistently sought to make his mark on the hospitality industry. His journey has taken him from boutique hotel management to consulting on beverage programs in the vibrant Charlotte, NC market.
But Brion's influence doesn't stop there. He's a true Renaissance man who blends various art forms like fashion and music to demystify the world of wine. Through his brand, "The Certified Wino," Brion invites you to join him in exploring the fascinating world of wine, one glass at a time. So, get ready to geek out over vino with Brion at the Battle of the Babes Cocktail Competition!
Cheryse Terry
Cheryse Terry is a true multifaceted artist, an archivist, and the proud owner of Archive CLT. A mother of three daughters and the wife of attorney Christopher Terry, Cheryse is a native Charlottean whose love for nostalgia led her to start collecting Black memorabilia almost a decade ago.
Her passion for preserving African American history and sharing it with future generations has driven her into various businesses centered around vintage items, including clothing and stationery. While Archive CLT boasts an incredible mocktail program, Cheryse is eager to indulge in craft cocktails created by the talented women leading the food and beverage industry. Join her as she explores the innovative cocktails at the competition!
